Bay Beach Swings

 The "kiddie" swings were one of Henry's favorite ride at Bay Beach. Sister went on this with him as well, but she also did the big kid swings. He was on some of the "baby" rides at first and we thought he had that scared comatose look, but that wasn't so. I figure that was the look of sheer boredom. This boy likes a little excitement. When he got on rides that were more thrilling for his age, then he perked up and smiled and laughed.

I did do a video of him on the swing for the first time. I am trying to remember to do some videos of the kids. We were just watching a bunch of videos we took of Sister at this age. There are more pictures from Bay Beach that I hope to post, but this is the only ride I did a video of.

Will Henry Remember Venus?

 I am not sure that either kid will remember seeing Venus as it passed by our view in front of the sun, because it's not a huge spectacular thing since all you see is a small black dot in front of a great big circle.

 Maybe they will remember looking in to the telescope and when we take them to some other viewing sponsored by the Astronomical Society they will remember looking through a telescope. I wonder if it was any more spectacular to go to a Planetarium for something like this or if the results were similar.

 What you see here is what we saw at one of stations. They had 4 viewing stations all set up in a different fashion and this one was projected on to a piece of paper in a bin, and we looked through a telescope (see above; also there was a second telescope to look through that we did not) and one that was put on a tv screen and was being recorded.

More WI Dells Pics

 These pictures were on the waterproof camera and are from the last day at WI Dells (in February). It was in our swim bag for the last 1.5 months and I had forgotten about it until I needed a camera and couldn't find the other one, so thought I would see if I could locate this one & found these pictures on there.

 I don't remember what animal is in this exhibit, but his friend thought it smelled and plugged his nose and said Ewwww!, so Henry had to do it too!

Pics of Henry

 Henry wanted his picture taken too since I was taking a picture of his sister. His hair is growing back all the curls nicely. I want to keep the curls around for another couple weeks, but we'll see what kind of weather we have and if it just becomes a hot mess for him. Then we'll head back to the barber and get him a little boy cut again. But for now he can look like a soccer player or a hockey player.
