Pool Time

Henry and his friend Jared at the pool. Henry learned how to do Flips off the diving board at this visit to the pool. I brought them in the afternoon came home to play and have supper then went back again in the evening. Jared didn't make it for a sleepover and wanted to go home but they had Henry come to their house the next day for a sleepover so Henry was happy to have had a sleepover with a friend this summer.

7th Birthday at Great Serengheti Waterpark

1st Day of Summer Vacation

We went hiking in Kaplan's Woods, swimming & sand play at Lake Kohlmeier, and a water fight at some friends house last Friday. It was the first full day of summer vacation. We know how to kick it off right! Oh, and the library reading program kick off!

Henry just went swimming with grandma while we were at George's Pond, and had a water fight with grandma and sister.

Faribault Waterpark

Beaver Lake Beach

This morning we went to Beaver Lake Beach. It's a County Park beach about 20 miles from our house. It was our first time there. It was a nice little beach, on the small side but very clean and at the end of summer that is pretty important because lots of other beaches start to get gross.

April Water Fun

Henry got a little taste of what summer is like and he thinks it's fantastic (not that he used those exact words, but close).

When sister got on the kiddie pool with his he just thought it was the perfect place to kick back and relax was on her. They were too cute!

Lake Kohlmeier

Frbo Waterpark (again)

The kids were able to go the Frbo waterpark again, this time compliments of completing the Buckham Library Summer Reading Program. We had a good time and it was nice that the entire family went so that we could take turns holding Henry & going down the waterslide with Isabel. And we could try out the other waterslides. They also had a drawing and both kids won inflatables.

Pool Time!

Henry loves to go swimming. He gets his little arms & legs going. He loves to play with his toys in the kiddie pool too. But most of all, I think he just loves that mommy holds him constantly for 1-2 hours at a time.
