Edinborough Park

As I mentioned in a previous post, we went to Edinborough Park with some friends that had spring break last week. I will have a Wordless Wednesday with some pictures, but these are the ones I did not use.

Henry had been to this park twice when Isabel was much younger and home with me. One time he was only a couple months old and I think the other time he was about 6 or 7 months old. We had not been back since, so this was really his first experience there. He had a lot of fun and of course all the boys fell asleep in the van on the way back.

RBNC - 2nd time in 1 week

So, these are all the pictures from when we went last Saturday to RBNC with sister. There were only 3 days between visits, but so much snow had melted between then. On this trip we spent most of our time down by the river. Both kids were happy, Henry could throw rocks and sister could look for interesting rocks to keep. Such different kids.

I love this picture of the two of them.

River Bend a Week Ago

Last Wednesday we went hiking at River Bend with some friends. It really is one of our favorite places to go. This top picture we were looking at some of the fossils they had there.

Here is Henry with our friends (their school at spring break, so I was totally taking advantage of friend availability last week and them wanting to do something fun for their kids during the break.)

Our week looked like this:
Monday - swimming @ AmericInn Pool & Pizza Ranch Lunch (sister had spring break that day so our family went with another family from our town)
Tuesday - Edinborough Park with Ben, Tyler & Cole
Wednesday - Gymnastics class then 2 1/2 hours hiking at RBNC with Gavin & Amelia
Thursday - Kids Class at the History Center then an indoor picnic & playdate with Ben, Tyler & Cole
Friday - ECFE class
Saturday - Hiking at RBNC again with sister and then a sleepover with Gavin & Amelia & sister
Sunday - Easter Round #2

You can't tell from this picture, but we were letting an almost 7 year old guide up, which took up up the side of an large icy hill. It was quite an accomplishment that we all made it up there in one piece.

You can see the rest of the pictures I took from this hiking trip on my Wordless Wednesday.
